Day 1 Santiago - Salamanca - 300

Santiago - Salamanca, 300 km
We meet at 8:30 to pick up the bikes in Santiago and begin our tour north. On this first day, we take the Tunnel Route, following the route of the old railway.

Day 2 Río - 300

Salamanca – Río Hurtado, 300 km
We continue north along paths that cross fertile valleys and join the Antakari route, or Route of the Stars.

Day 3 Río - Huasco - 337

Río Hurtado – Huasco, 337 km
We start the day early to appreciate the scenery along the 45 kilometers of unpaved road that forms the Antakari route. This stretch passes by the El Pangue and Mamalluca observatories, among others, and flocks of Trichahue parrots will accompany us soaring above the motorcycles. At the end of this tour, we will arrive in Huasco, where a special dinner awaits us, followed by a wonderful rest on the shores of the Pacific.

Day 4 Huasco - Bahía - 200

Huasco - Bahía Inglesa, 200 km
The trip will follow the coastline and cross the Llanos de Challe National Park, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. We will arrive at Bahía Inglesa, a beautiful beach resort with exquisite cuisine.

Day 5 Huasco - Taltal - 236

Bahía Inglesa - Taltal, 236 km
Another day of driving along the coastline. We'll cross Pan de Azucar National Park, and its landscape will make you feel like you're traveling on another planet.

Day 6 Taltal - Antofagasta - 230

Taltal - Antofagasta, 230 km
Our last day of driving along the coast will take us to Antofagasta, but not before climbing and descending more than 1,000 meters above sea level.

Day 7 Antofagasta - San - 310

Antofagasta - San Pedro de Atacama, 310 km
Today we head back toward the Andes to reach the town of San Pedro de Atacama, the region's tourist center.

Day 8 San - San - 0

San Pedro de Atacama
A free day to visit the sorroundings of San Pedro. Desert valleys, hidden lagoons and archaelogical sytes are some of the options you may visit. If you prefer to have a rest, Sn Pedro de Atacama´s streets are beautiful to have an inmersive experience in local coulture

Day 9 San - Purmamarca - 410

San Pedro de Atacama - Purmamarca (Argentina), 410 km
Day of the first crossing of the Andes mountain range. We will arrive at the Jama border crossing after crossing the Los Flamencos National Reserve, famous for its imposing rock formations that emerge from the desert sands. After the crossing, we will cross the Olaroz salt flat, Salina Grande, and the unforgettable Cuesta de Lipán.

Day 10 Purmamarca - Cafayate - 370

Purmamarca - Cafayate (Argentina), 370 km
After a short detour to visit the Pucará de Tilcara, we take the legendary Route 40 south to reach the beautiful city of Cafayate. We'll cross desert landscapes, fertile valleys, and the beautiful Quebrada de las Conchas.

Day 11 Cafayate - Fiambala - 420

Cafayate - Fiambalá (Argentina), 420 km
We continue enjoying the diverse landscapes that Route 40 offers from north to south and take the detour to Fiambalá, where we must recharge our batteries for the next day, perhaps the most demanding of all.

Day 12 Fiambala - Copiapó - 480

Fiambalá - Copiapó (Chile), 480 km
This last day of the route will take us back across the Andes mountain range through one of the highest border crossings in the world. The famous Route of the Six Thousanders offers a unique spectacle for travelers that will not soon be forgotten. We arrive in the city of Copiapó, where we will spend our last night as a group.
